Through our newest SmartSolution, called Scan to Xambox, we have partnered with Xambox to help you save 20 minutes per day! Xambox, a patented solution that manages your papers, has even been awarded the most useful application prize by the RIAO scientific congress at Carnegie Mellon University.
Once you have created a Xambox account and installed the Scan to Xambox SmartSolution on your printer, the process is very simple: just scan your incoming mail, warranty, invoice or receipt by touching the 'Scan to Xambox' button on your Lexmark Web-connected All-In-One printer. Your document will be scanned, OCR'd*, indexed and stored in the Xambox cloud. The SmartSolution even allows the full process to run if your computer is turned off.
Later, to retrieve your papers, simply log into your Xambox account (from any computer or smartphone) and type any keyword to open the document on your screen. If you use the free dividers from Xambox, the solution will even display the actual location of the hard copy: for instance “Box #4, 5th page past the 7th divider”.

*OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is the electronic translation of scanned images into editable text. Combined with the powerful Xambox search engine, it enables you to retrieve any document through any keyword.
